Harriet A. “Kae” Kammerer

Harriet A. "Kae" Kammerer, 75, formerly of Lancaster, passed away at The Gardens at Camp Hill, Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Barbara (Staples) Hartman.  

Kae was of the Catholic Faith, believing strongly in helping others. Kae was a housewife for many years before entering the workforce. After retiring from working at The Mennonite Home in Lancaster for over 20 years, she spent a lot of time volunteering at the Pet Pantry animal shelter in Lancaster. She was a talented impressionistic painter who enjoyed painting landscape scenes and portraits of loved ones, often giving the paintings as gifts. 

Kae is survived by her children: Kristen Clay, partner to Ron Liddick, of Lebanon and Raymond Kammerer, husband to Micah Earl, of McAlisterville, PA. She is also survived by her brother, Dana Hartman, husband to Cindy, of Lancaster. 

 A gathering to celebrate the life of Kae will be held from 3PM to 5PM, Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kae's memory may be made to The Pet Pantry of Lancaster.
