Gloria Jean Crawshaw

Gloria J. Crawshaw, 76, of Paradise, PA, went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2026, at her residence. She was an angel here on earth who is now an angel in heaven.

Born on June 9, 1950, in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Lucy (Verrelli) Yarwasky.

Gloria was a 1968 graduate of Curwensville Area High School and went on to attend Clarion University, where she earned a degree in Special Education. She taught for many years until 1997, when she and her husband, Joseph Crawshaw, began the adventure of becoming Innkeepers as the owner-operators of Frogtown Acres Bed and Breakfast in Paradise, PA. Through their servant hearts, they ministered to countless guests who had the privilege of staying with them over the past 28 years. Many who arrived as strangers left as lifelong friends. 

She was a devoted member of Forgiven Worship Center in New Holland, PA, where she served on the leadership team, directed the children's ministry for many years, and, for a time, assisted with the youth group.

On her mission to make heaven more crowded, Gloria faithfully hosted a weekly Bible study in her home, ministered at the local prison, and, when life permitted, held online communion services. She also enjoyed volunteering with Blessings of Hope Food Ministry.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph E. Crawshaw, whom she married on May 25, 1991.

She is also survived by her two daughters, Toni Rowles and her husband, Fred, and Patricia Maier; her son, Steve Bressler; her ten grandchildren, Damion Bressler, Alicia Mencer and her husband, Dan, Isiah Morgan, Derek Morgan and his wife, Jessica, Deric Rowles, Anthony Rowles, Tristen Bressler, Cole Bressler and his wife, Tara, Sydney Maier, and Nicholas Maier; and her eight great-grandchildren, Maya, Noah, Luca, Eli, Stiles, James, Kaylee, and Arianna 

She is further survived by her two brothers, Stanley Yarwasky and his wife, Donna, and Frank Yarwasky; her four sisters, Suzanne Curthoys and her husband, Robert, Patty Mack, Janet Porter and her husband, Rodger, and Diane Spencer and her husband, Shane; her brothers-in-law, Jim Michaels and his wife, Kim, John Crawshaw and his wife, Betty, and Robert Crawshaw; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Barry Bressler and Robert Bressler Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Tammy Bressler; her great-grandson, Elias Mencer; her sister, Joy Michaels; her brother-in-law, James Mack; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Yarwasky; and her sister-in-law, Lynn Crawshaw.

Gloria leaves behind a legacy of steadfast faith and unconditional love. Anyone who met her saw a true reflection of Jesus. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Honoring Gloria's wishes, the family will hold a private celebration of her life at a later date.
