Glenn Lamar Bailey

Glenn Lamar Bailey, 95, passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Pleasant View Retirement Community. He was the husband of the late R. Elaine (Zook) Bailey.

Glenn was born in Mount Joy, PA, son of the late Maurice and Ruth (Fritz) Bailey. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Lampeter-Strasburg School District after 36 years of dedicated service as a shop teacher.

Glenn is survived by two children, Jodi Bailey Wells and her husband, Nick, and Chuck Bailey and his wife, Brenda; three grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Hess.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2026 in the Hoffer Auditorium at Pleasant View Communities, 544 N. Penryn Road, Manheim. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
