Gladys Schofield

Gladys Schofield, age 85, and went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2026.

A native of Lancaster, PA. she moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1973 then moved to NC in 1988. She moved back to Lancaster, Pa in August,2023.

She was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna Mae Newcomer Graybill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Schofield, a brother Glenn Graybill and a sister Lois Lantz, and Gladys’s sons Dennie Keener and Gary Keener.

She is survived by one son, Randy Keener and wife (Kim), granddaughters: Kelsey Beyer, her husband (TJ) and great grandchild (Becket), and Kylie Kenner and husband (TJ), and great grandsons, Silas and Dax Brothers: Lloyd Graybill (Mary), and Larry Graybill (Linda) and sister Jean Blackwell (Neal). Six stepchildren: Alice, Terry, Michael, Tara, Tracey and Tim, and 17 step grandchildren, and 27 step great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Charles Snyder Funeral Home, at 3101 Lititz Pike, Lititz, Pa. On September 21, 2026 at 3PM with Stan Maughan and Rich Ragan officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3PM prior to the service.

Gladys was a member of Lake Junaluska First Baptist Church for 25 years in NC. and then Calvery Church in Lancaster PA. She also attended the Sunday school class ABF.
