Geraldine Ruth Hulyo

Geraldine R. Hulyo, 87, of Lititz, passed away on October 12, 2026. She was born in Swoyersville, PA to the late John Sr. Mechalavage and Stella (Skiengel) Mechalavage-Songaila.

Geraldine was the beloved wife of the late Thaddeus F. Hulyo, with whom she shared a loving marriage of over 50 years before his passing in 2016.

Geraldine worked as a clerk at Giant before retiring. Outside of work, she enjoyed flowers, cooking, collecting purses and bears, and attending craft fairs.  She was a longtime member of St. James Catholic Church and found comfort in her faith.

Geraldine is survived by her children, Michael Hulyo (Julia), LeeAnn Harber (James Jr.), Mark Hulyo (Pamela), Lisa Sprenkle (Thomas), and John Hulyo (Tamara). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel, Kristen, William, Nicholas, Kyle, Caitlin, Kayla, Mitchell, Johnathan, Nathaniel, and Peyton; her great-grandchildren, Dylan, Elizabeth, Carly, Parker, Thea, Aislin, Jackson, Sloane, Collins, Kenley, Charlotte, Matthew, Benjamin, Sydney, Jonathan Jr., Amias, and Ila Noelle.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Hulyo and her sister, Marie Bordy.

Family invites guests to a Funeral Mass that will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 11:00am at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Avenue, Lititz, PA 17543.
