Gerald S. “Jerry” Lodanosky, 81, of Ephrata, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Keystone Villa.
Born and raised in Mahanoy City, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Francis (Sincavage) Lodanosky.
Jerry was a devoted Catholic, and he made it a priority to attend daily Mass at his home parish. He was an avid sports fan who cheered on the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and Golden State Warriors. Jerry was known for always being up to date on the local happenings and for his well-known dislike of snow. A resident of Keystone Villa, he formed special bonds with those who cared for him and always looked forward to seeing "his girls" there each day. Above all, Jerry cherished his family. He never missed celebrating birthdays and enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with those he loved.
He is survived by his brother, Frank (Theresa) Lodanosky; and his nieces and nephews, Christine Vilord, Beth Brinsfield, Amy Nelson, Michael Lodanosky, and Joseph Lodanosky.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William and Joseph Lodanosky; and nephew, Frank Lodanosky.
Friends and family will be received from 10AM to 11AM on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, 320 Church Avenue, Ephrata, PA 17522. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11AM.
Per the request of the family, please omit flowers.
