George J. Zellers

George J. Zellers, 68, son of George Zellers and Francis Zellers, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, March 20, 2026. Known for his steady humor and love of music, George leaves behind a legacy of kindness and quiet strength that will be deeply missed.

George is survived by his beloved partner, Cathy Adams, who was his closest companion and constant in life. He is also survived by his daughter, Lena Picciano and son‑in‑law Steve Picciano, his son, Michael Zellers and daughter‑in‑law Rebecca Zellers, and his three cherished grandchildren, who brought immense pride and happiness into his life.

George deeply valued his friendships and held them close to his heart. He especially cherished the lifelong bonds he shared with Brian, Nancy, and Gary, whose companionship and support brought him comfort, laughter, and joy throughout the years.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 1PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Autism Caring Center, 7051 Steubenville Pike A1, Oakdale PA 15071, in honor of George’s grandsons, who are on the autism spectrum — a cause close to his heart and one he supported with pride.
