Gail M. Bubernack

Gail M. (Ressler) Bubernack, 73, of Lancaster, formerly of Manheim, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Gardens of Stevens.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Hope (Kuhns) and Charles Ressler. She was the wife of the late John "Jack" E. Bubernack, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.

Gail worked as an office assistant for Penn State Cooperative Extention until her retirement.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cooking for her family, and had a love for ice cream. Most of all, she valued time spent with her husband and family. She took great joy in being with her grandchildren and especially loved spoiling them. Gail also enjoyed chaperoning the Jobe's Daughter's (Masonic Youth Group) events.

Gail was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Rohrerstown, and the Order of the Amaranth, where she served as a Past Grand Royal Matron.

She is survived by her daughters, Krista Heisey of Manheim and Kimberly Rightnour of Columbia; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service was held at Ruhl's United Methodist Cemetery, Manheim.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association at American Diabetes Association.
