Erin Corrina Bowers

Erin Corrina Bowers, 48, of Lititz, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, July 20, 2026, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Lancaster, Erin was the beloved daughter of David W. and JoAnne M. (Henry) Bowers. She graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School, where she participated in the marching band, playing the alto saxophone. After high school, Erin pursued a career in teaching, earning her bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Millersville University.

Erin had a love for flowers, admiring their beauty, shape, and texture, with her favorite being lilies and cleomes. She had a quick sense of humor and loved spending time at the beach, especially in the Outer Banks and on Kiawah Island. Erin had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. She never missed an opportunity to check in on a friend, offer encouragement, share a laugh, or remind someone that they were loved. More than anything, Erin's children were her breath in this life. Everything she did was for them.

In addition to her parents, Erin is survived by her children, Elle R. Groff and Samuel Groff; her brother, Christopher Bowers, his wife, Larissa, and their infant son, Miles Francis Bowers, who was born just hours before Erin's passing. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her dearly, as well as her faithful feline companion, Linguine Fettucine, a rescue cat who remained loyally by her side. Erin was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to honor Erin's memory may make contributions to the Lititz Women's Club, P.O.
