Ellen E. Bell

Ellen E. Bell, 77, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on October 23, 2026 at Myerstown Nursing & Rehab. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Randall and Ruth (Shiflet) MacPherson. Ellen was a loving wife to the late Robert G. Bell.

She devoted her career to caring for mothers and newborns as a labor and delivery nurse until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, baking and music.

Ellen is survived by a sister: Coralene Stetter; a brother: Michael MacPherson; and several nieces and nephews along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers: J. Robert MacPherson and David W. MacPherson.

Friends will be received from 1:00-1:30 PM with a Celebration of Ellen’s Life to begin at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.
