Elizabeth S Gochnauer

Elizabeth "Lisa" Wagner Gochnauer went to be with Jesus on July 23, 2026, at the age of 77. The daughter of the late Bob and Mary Springer, she was the beloved wife of J. Douglas Gochnauer.

Lisa resided in Brownstown/Ephrata most of her life where she was a well-known music educator and pianist. Lisa taught in the Pequea Valley and Conestoga Valley School Districts, Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic School, as well as in her home. She served Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Brownstown, Leacock Presbyterian Church in Paradise, OMPH and was a former member of and accompanist of The Heritage Chorale of Lancaster.

Lisa was a woman of sincere faith and was a partner at LCBC Ephrata.

Surviving in addition to her husband are daughter Sharon Brandt (partner George Naylor) of Philadelphia, son Joshua Wagner (Laura) of Parkesburg, stepson Michael Gochnauer (Kate) of Fleetwood, stepdaughter Amanda Bucher (fiancée of Mike Paslawskyj) of Marietta, step-grandchildren Tyler Gochnauer (Brittany), Levi Bucher, Mason Bucher and Lillian Gochnauer, and sisters Christine Westcoat and Michelle Horowitz, both of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wagner.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 2 to 3PM, with the service beginning at 3PM. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a time of fellowship and sharing.
