Eldon Lewis Hoffman

Eldon Lewis Hoffman, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 4, 2026.

He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a dedicated friend to many.

Born to the late Warren and Inez Hoffman in Luling, Texas, and raised in Oklahoma. Eldon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Physics from North Carolina State University. He proudly served his country as a Private First Class and Fire Control Specialist in the U.S. Army.

Eldon built a successful career as a Sales Executive and Applications Engineer. He lent his talents and technical expertise to several prominent companies over the years, including Corning, Aerovox, AVX, and Rosenberger.

Eldon’s greatest joy was his family. He was the devoted husband of Marilyn, and together, they raised four children. He was a hands-on father and mentor who coached soccer, volleyball, and softball. Eldon was also a wonderful storyteller whose tales captivated his children and grandchildren.

Eldon was known for his remarkable kindness and generosity and enjoyed sharing his talent and experience. He served as a mentor with SCORE, a consultant with Bpeace, and an instructor with East Petersburg Sportsman’s Association.
