Edward Michael "Mike" Haney, 66, passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2026.

Mike was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Life took him all over the country, but Southern Maryland was the place he came to call home.

He had a lifelong love of music, especially jazz and classical, a passion he passed on to his two sons. He loved discovering new restaurants and sharing wonderful meals with family and friends.

For Mike, the best evenings didn't end when dinner did. They continued with music playing, stories told and retold, and conversation stretching late into the night. It was in those simple, unhurried moments, surrounded by people he loved, that he was happiest.
