Dorothy Jean Grove

Dorothy Jean “Dottie” Grove, 97, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026. Born in Coffeyville, KS, she was the daughter of the late Lem and Faye Stuart. She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard E. Hoffman, and second husband, Leonard Grove.

Dottie worked as an accountant for the Occupational Development Center in Lancaster. She also served as the treasurer of the Towne Club of Lancaster. Dottie enjoyed camping and traveling, getting to see all 50 states. She was a talented painter, played the violin in her younger years, and was a member of a club that played bridge once a month.

Dottie is survived by 2 children: Ronald Hoffman and Susan Stoudt. She was predeceased by her son Steven Hoffman.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Dottie’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
