Donna May (Henderson) Baker, 81, of Lancaster, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Born in St. Francis, Maine, Donna was the daughter of the late Ross James and Flora Belle (Kelly) Henderson. She was the loving and faithful wife of Rev. Moses P. Baker, with whom she celebrated 59 years of marriage.
A devoted Christian, Donna was a faithful member of New Life Church, Lancaster. Donna attended Bible School and became a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. Together with her husband, she ministered to congregations in Northern New England, New York, and Pennsylvania. Donna had a passion for children, serving as a Sunday School teacher for all ages and Director of Children's Ministries. She also served as a Worship Leader throughout the years. Donna also helped as a Teacher's Aide on the Elementary School level. However, Donna's heart was always her family who she loved greatly. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her children: Julie Capaldi, wife of Chris, of Lancaster, Shelley Mizgerd, wife of John, of Yorktown Heights, NY, and Kevin Baker, husband of Lynda, of Lancaster; her grandchildren: Christopher and Alicia Capaldi, John Mizgerd, Alison (Mizgerd) Molino, wife of Tayge, and Katelyn and Owen Baker; and her siblings: James and Helen Henderson, both of Randolph, Maine.
Family and Friends will be received for a visitation from 10AM to 11AM, Monday, June 22, 2026, at New Life Church, 1991 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602. A Celebration of Donna's life will follow at the church at 11AM. There will be a luncheon at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the children's ministries at New Life Church, Lancaster PA. Private interment will take place at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
