Donald E. Horn, Sr., 87, of Millersville, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Willow Valley.
Born in York, he was the son of the late Ernest O. and Ethel M. (Lauer) Horn. He was the loving husband of Mary E. “Boots” (Willey) Harrison Horn.
Don served as the President and CEO of Pennfield Corporation, where he worked for many years before retiring in 2003. Don was a longtime and faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millersville. In his free time, Don especially enjoyed golfing and traveling. Whether on the golf course or exploring new places, he appreciated the opportunity to relax and spend time doing the things he loved.
Don is survived by his wife, Boots Horn; his children, Gail (Kenneth) Cassell, Melissa Horn, and Donald (Melanie) Horn, Jr; his stepchildren, Kevin (Sherlyn) Harrison and Michael (Kim) Harrison; his grandchildren, Kenneth Cassell, Jr., Rachel (JP) McIntyre, Donald (April) Horn III, Devon Hornberger, and Zoe Hornberger; his step grandchildren, Michael Harrison, Jr. and Chad (Shelby) Harrison; and his great-grandchildren, Mason and Mia McIntyre.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ernest Horn, Jr.; and grandson, Adam Cassell.
Friends and family will be received from 10AM to 11AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 222 N. George Street, Millersville, PA 17551. A Funeral Service will follow beginning at 11AM.
