Diana Lynne Wolf

Diana Lynne Wolf, 80, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Sauberan Jr. and Doris (Sophie) Heller Sauberan. Diana was the loving wife of Roger L. Wolf, and they spent 58 years walking by one another's side through the ups and downs of life. She received her undergraduate degree at Hofstra University and her master's from Stoneybrook University. She worked as an English teacher, took time away from work to raise her children, and later in life returned to work as New York State regional director at KinderCare and director of the child-care center at Time Warner in Times Square.

Diana was a strong woman, beating cancer; she met whatever life had to offer, truly enjoying every moment. Diana and Roger traveled all over the world: Asia, Africa, Australia, China, Europe, India, South America and throughout the United States. At home, she took pride in decorating her house with items from her travels, as well as tending her flower garden. She was a true fashionista and found great pleasure in shopping, always finding the perfect gift or item for her wardrobe or home. Her family remembers her as a phenomenal cook and baker, and as a consummate hostess who loved to entertain her large circle of friends and family. Diana volunteered extensively at Millersville's Meals on Wheels, both cooking and serving as President for many years. She enjoyed reading and participating in a local book club. She also was an animal lover who doted on her cat and served as a director for Vanessa's Lasting Legacy, a nonprofit established in memory of her beloved grand-dog, dedicated to helping animals. Family was very important to Diana - she was a fierce supporter of her children and grandchildren and recently devoted herself to helping care for her ailing brother and sister-in-law.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Roger, are her two children: Chris Wolf and his wife Tobi Wolf and partner Rebecca Gibson, and Jeremy Wolf and his significant other Kerry Dudek; and her grandchildren: Tatiana Wolf and her fiancé Jake Conant, and Tey Gibson-Wolf. She is also survived by other extended family and has recently appreciated support from her niece Theresa Searer and her husband Scott Searer, her nephew Clayton Sauberan IV and his wife Pam Sauberan, her niece Jennifer Sauberan, and her brother-in-law Lester Wolf and his wife Lila Wolf. She will be lovingly missed by her cat, Autumn as well as many grand fur babies. Preceding her in passing is a brother, Clayton Sauberan III and his wife Nancy Sauberan.
