LITITZ

Debra J. Wenger

Debra J. Wenger, 66, of Lititz, PA, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Landis Homes, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Dover, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Karen (Patterson) and Peter Bleistein. She was the devoted wife of Mervin Wenger, with whom she shared over 47 years of marriage.

Debra worked as a secretary for Kissel Hill and Manheim Township for 21 years. She was a faithful member of Hosanna Christian Fellowship Church, Lititz, where she served as a Board Officer and an usher, and gave her time to the community as a member of the Warwick School Board for 12 years. Debra was also a dedicated member and past President of the Lancaster Lebanon Association of Educational Office Professionals (LLAEOP), where she built lasting friendships and served with pride. Deb’s vibrant personality made her a joy to be around. She loved people, and people loved her in return. Her smile was contagious and is one of her most memorable traits. It brightened the lives of people around her and drew them to her warmth, kindness, and genuine spirit. Everything she did, she did fully and faithfully for God, a reflection of the deep faith that guided her life.

She found her greatest joy in her family. Debra loved time away with them in Canaan Valley and Davis, WV, especially hiking and being together. She loved hosting Thanksgiving, making sure everyone felt welcomed and cared for. She enjoyed reading, shopping, tea, and the simple joy of bright colors-but nothing meant more to her than her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mervin; her sons, Brandon (Sarah), Preston (Sabrina Derr), and Nathan (Rachel), all of Lititz; her cherished grandchildren, Natalie, Devon, Paxton, Clayton, and Lily; and her brother, John Keller.

A viewing will be held from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Hosanna Christian Fellowship Church, Lititz. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the church, with family and friends invited to gather from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will follow at White Oak Cemetery.
