Debra Sheetz (formerly Johnson), 67, passed away on August 2, 2026. Born on January 4, 1959, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, Debra lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a genuine love for those around her.
Debra was a devoted mother to her children, Cale Johnson, Jade Lake (formerly Sheetz), and Cody Sheetz. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Harper Lake and Finn Lake, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Nothing made Debra happier than spending time with her grandchildren, creating special memories they will cherish forever.
She found joy in crafting and sewing, sharing her creativity through handmade projects and thoughtful gifts. Whether she was making something beautiful with her hands or simply spending time with family, Debra’s love was evident in everything she did.
Those who knew Debra will remember her for her warm personality, infectious smile, and unwavering kindness. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel welcome, valued, and loved. Her gentle spirit and caring heart touched countless lives, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her father Donald Johnson and her sister Barbra Plempel. She is survived by her mother, Doris Earhart (formerly Lash), her brother Corbit Miller, her children, Cale Johnson, Jade Lake, and Cody Sheetz; her beloved grandchildren, Harper and Finn Lake, and Alexiz DellaPenna; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
A celebration of Debra's life will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Charles Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. The family will be receiving guests at prior to the service beginning at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Healing Journey Foundation to support cancer patients at 703 Lampeter Rd., Lancaster, PA 17602 or by visiting healingjourneyfoundation.org/.
Though she will be deeply missed, Debra’s legacy of love, compassion, and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
