Deborah S. Clark
Deborah S. Clark, 71, of Leola, PA, passed peacefully into the arms of God on November 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family in the comfort of her home. Born in Wrightsville, PA, Deb was the daughter of the late Thomas and Shirley (Shindler) Clark. She was the lifelong companion of the late Perry Dean Fischer.
Deb had a passion for collecting movies and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved cats, crocheting, Christmas, traveling to Florida, and creating beautiful crafts. She especially enjoyed attending craft shows and sharing her talents with others. A wonderful baker, Deb took great pride in making delicious desserts for her family. She was particularly famous for her apple pie, which earned her the #1 spot in every competition she entered. She also loved taking her family to concerts and making memories together. Above all else, Deb’s greatest joy was her family. She loved and adored her children and grandchildren and devoted her life to providing them with a wonderful life. A hardworking woman, she spent much of her life working two jobs to ensure her family had everything they needed. Her love, dedication, and generosity will forever be remembered by those who knew her.
Deb is survived by her 11 children: Jennifer Clark, Pamela Fischer (Jacob Ansted), Lis Fischer, Perry Fischer, Christine Bowman (Scott), Gary Fischer, Dean Fischer (Jessica), Jeffrey Fischer, Scott Fischer, Trisha Towles (Dreyson), and Renee Cruz (Steven); 36 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and lifelong companion, Deb was preceded in death by her son, Mark Fischer; three grandchildren; and her brother, Thomas “Tommy” Clark.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. A Celebration of Deborah’s Life will begin at 12:30 PM.
