David William Woyurka, 84, of Lititz, PA, passed away on July 27, 2026 at his home after a brief illness. Born in Shamokin, PA, he was the son of the late George & Virginia (Bastress) Woyurka. David was the husband of 53 years to the late Linda L. (Weidman) Woyurka.
David retired after 30+ years of service with Conrail and Amtrak. David liked to challenge his mind with crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. He loved to read and volunteered at the Lititz Library. He was a Boy Scout Pack Leader and dabbled in substitute teaching locally. He was a Civil War buff, which included Civil War reenactments at Gettysburg, PA. Also, he was an avid runner, he managed to run the Boston Marathon twice in 1982 & 1983. David loved his cats.
Surviving are 4 sons: David Woyurka, companion of Natalie Williams, Shawn Woyurka, husband of Linda, Brandon Woyurka & Chris Woyurka, husband of Kim; 4 grandchildren: Cameron, Keegan, Sydney & Maddox; a great-grandchild: Finnegan; and a sister-in-law: Tina Peterson.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lititz Library, 651 Kissel Hill Road, Lititz, PA 17543.
