David “Stuart” Martin, Sr., 64 of Willow Street PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Born March 28, 1962, in Chester County PA, to the late Elvin Martin and survived by Mary Jane Stuart. Stu, as most people knew him by, was the owner of D.S. Martin Plumbing in Willow Street, PA.
He spent much of his free time with family and friends enjoying some of his favorite activities which included boating, crabbing, hunting, or fishing. Stu genuinely loved life and all his family and friends. Most often referred to as “One of the good ones,” Stu was always there to help anyone in need. He would be there any time of the day to help anyone he could with a bright and contagious smile on his face and a giant thumbs up. He was also a member of Columbia Masonic Lodge #286 in Columbia, PA and was a Free and Accepted Mason.
Stu is survived by his devoted wife, Sharon L. Martin, son David S. Martin, Jr., husband of Billie Jo, his daughter Michelle L. Creasy, wife of Kevin, a stepson Ryan M. Snyder, a brother Charles A. Martin, husband of Cathy, and 5 grandchildren.
He will truly be missed by all family and friends and the many people’s lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held for any family or friends wishing to attend Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 2-4:30PM at the Riverside Camping Association, located at 730 East Strawberry Street, Lancaster, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made via Go Fund Me on Facebook and shared photos would be appreciated.
