Daniel H. Fellenbaum, 90, of Mount Joy, passed away on July 3, 2026 in Elizabethtown.
He was the husband for over 50 years to the late Rosetta Gehman Fellenbaum, who passed away in 2006.
Born in East Petersburg, he was the son of the late Clyde S. and Edna (Hilton) Fellenbaum. He was a devoted and dedicated husband, father, and Grandfather who loved his family. He attended Manheim Twp. High school.
Daniel had been a life long farmer for over 70 years, first working for the Turkey Hill Dairy and then later being a co-owner of Willow Bend Horse Farm ; where he also raised broiler chickens. He along with his late wife Rose, were long-time leaders of the 4 H, Boots and Saddles, Horse and Pony Club of Lancaster.
He was a member of Valley Lea Riding Club, enjoyed tractor and truck pulls, NASCAR Racing, farming, and making hay.
He was a former member of Lancaster Church of The Brethren, where he was a member of the young climbers group and was an active participant in the Christmas programs.
Daniel is survived by his children: Robin Goodman, married to McKinley of Mountville, Daniel, Jr. married to Cristal of Mount Joy, Jeffrey married to Valerie Fellenbaum of Columbia, Douglass married to Stephanie Kendall of Lebanon: his 10 great grandchildren: Jennifer Goodman, Reid Fellenbaum, Laura King, Melissa Lelo, Victoria Hanna, Grant Fellenbaum, Chad Fellenbaum, Jared Fellenbaum, Douglass Fellenbaum Jr., John Fellenbaum, and Joseph Fellenbaum, his 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his brother, Marlin Fellenbaum of Lancaster and brother in law Roland Gehman. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Timothy Goodman, and by his 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Friends will be received by Daniel’s family on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 6-8PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA and again on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 10-11AM , with the Funeral Service to follow at 11AM. Interment will follow in East Petersburg Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in his memory to Penn State University Dan Fellenbaum Memorial, 1383 Arcadia Rd., RM 140, Lancaster, PA 17601. Attn. Lori Little.
