Colette Joyce Harnly

Colette Joyce Harnly, 69, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Gloria B. (Shenk) Harnly.

Colette was a graduate of Manheim Township High School Class of 1976 and worked as a machinist for Federal Mogul, and later NTN-BCA. She was an avid fan of NASCAR, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Hershey Bears. Colette had a special place in her heart for animals and had many furbabies throughout the years. She had the biggest heart and was often referred to as a "ray of sunshine".

Colette is survived by 3 siblings: Paulette Kraybill (John), Lynette Reisinger, and Richard Harnly (Donna); 3 nephews: Jeremy Lutz (Hannah), Kyle Kraybill, and Brian Harnly; and was a caregiver to Donald Hess.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the chaplains, nurses, physicians, staff and security who provided passionate care, comfort, and support during this difficult time. Your kindness and dedication will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
