Clara Ann Kenney

Clara A. (Glouner) Kenney, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully June 29, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Anna (Beilmann)Glouner.

Born and raised in Lancaster, Clara was a proud graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, Class of 1958. She dedicated 25 years of her career to National Central Bank as a banker.

In October 1983, she married David R. Kenney, and together they shared 43 years filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Clara loved playing tennis, shopping, going to the gym, listening to music, and spending time at the beach. One of her greatest joys was sending thoughtful cards to family and friends.

Clara generously volunteered at St. Margaret Mary Church in Harrisburg. She had an incredible gift for remembering people's first names, making everyone she met feel welcomed and valued. Clara had a giving heart and always found more happiness in giving than receiving.

Clara is survived by her siblings, David Glouner and his wife Kathy, Marilyn Hischmann and her companion Jack Curran, and Daniel Glouner husband of Anne (deceased), and sister-in-law Susan Glouner wife of Douglas (deceased) along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A Funeral Mass celebrating the lives of Clara and David Kenney will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph Street, Lancaster, PA 17603. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the Mass. Inurnment will immediately follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery
