Bryant Flemon Webb

Bryant Flemon Webb, 83, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026. Born in Roanoke, VA, he was the son of the late Flemon and Katherine (Akers) Webb. He was the loving husband (60 years) of Judy (Moore) Webb and the adoring father of daughter Sherri (Webb) Kimmel and son, the late Tom Webb who he missed every day. He found joy in his family: Sherri’s husband Martin Kimmel, Tom’s wife Jen (Nice) Webb, and his grandchildren Bailey (Kimmel) and her husband Nate Bachynski; Webb Kimmel and his fiancé Molly Bittner; Ella Schnoor and Gabi Putt. He is survived by his brother Marvin Webb.

Bryant graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Go Hokies!) and spent his career as an agricultural engineer at New Holland Machine Company where he designed and worked on combines and balers. He holds 20+ US and International patents so, when you see those large round hay bales in the fields, think of Bryant. He was a long-time member of the West Earl Fire Company and Lions’ Club. Throughout his life he was an avid hunter, trap shooter, snowmobiler, RV traveler and golfer. After retirement he enjoyed his time as an escort driver for High Steel. He and Judy spent many wonderful winters in Sarasota Lakes, FL and he maintained close ties to family in Callaway, VA where he grew up. He lived a life full of adventure, love, eating Judy’s wonderful home-cooked meals and enjoying cookies and desserts of every kind. He was always available to help family and friends whenever and wherever needed.

A Celebration of Bryant’s life will be held at West Earl Fire Hall on Sunday, May 17th at 1:00 pm. A memorial service will also be held in Callaway, VA in September. Date and time TBD.
