Brian Joseph James Collier

Brian Joseph James Collier, 60, of Lititz, Pennsylvania, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on July 17, 2026. He was born on August 19, 1965, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Brian was the beloved husband of Karen Collier, with whom he shared 35 wonderful years of marriage built on faith, love, and unwavering devotion. The love they shared was evident to everyone who knew them, and together they built a life centered on Christ, family, and serving others. He was a loving father to Lee Collier and his wife, Jennafer, and Brian Collier and his wife, Michelle. His greatest joy was being "Grumpy" to his cherished grandchildren, Thurston, Perrin, Reya, and Kian Collier, who brought endless happiness and purpose to his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Collier, and is survived by his mother, Margaret Collier. He is also survived by his brothers, John Collier, Keith Collier, and Jason Collier, and was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Collier.

Brian dedicated his professional career to serving others through leadership and excellence. He served as General Manager of Construction at Communications Test Design, Inc. (CTDI), where he was respected for his integrity, discipline, and relentless work ethic. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, reflecting his lifelong commitment to learning and personal growth.

Brian proudly served his country in both the United States Air Force and the United States Army Reserve. His love for America never faded, and he remained a steadfast patriot throughout his life. One of his proudest memories was driving in President George W. Bush's motorcade in May 2001, a unique honor that reflected his dedication to service. He also devoted himself to supporting veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, law enforcement officers, and all who answered the call to serve.

Above every accomplishment, Brian was a man of unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. He lived his life according to God's Word and sought every opportunity to serve the Body of Christ. As Head of Security at Waypoint Church, he faithfully protected and served his church family with humility, strength, and a servant's heart. His faith wasn't simply something he professed-it was the foundation upon which he built every aspect of his life.

Those who knew Brian will remember a man of exceptional character. He was disciplined, driven, intelligent, and deeply knowledgeable, yet remarkably humble. He was a protector, an encourager, and someone who never hesitated to help those in need. He possessed a servant's heart, giving of himself without expecting anything in return. While he was known for his seriousness and strong convictions, he also enjoyed a good laugh and treasured the moments spent with those he loved.

Brian had a passion for living life well. He loved lifting weights and staying physically fit, taking great pride in caring for his health. He enjoyed cooking, baking homemade bread, watching movies and television, studying history, tending to his yard, relaxing with a good cigar, and searching for the best chicken wings at local pubs and breweries. He loved animals, especially the dogs and cats he and Karen shared in the home they built together. Above all else, he treasured time with his wife, children, grandchildren, family, and friends. They were the greatest blessings of his life.

Brian's life was marked by love, sacrifice, faithfulness, and service. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, the family he loved so deeply, and the example of Christ he faithfully sought to follow every day.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 28, at Ephrata Community Church, 70 Clay School Road, Ephrata, PA 17522, with visitation from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home. A military honors ceremony and salute will follow the service in recognition of Brian's faithful service to his country.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Brian's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, organizations whose missions reflected his lifelong commitment to serving those who serve others.

Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice in knowing that Brian is home with his Savior. We will forever carry forward the faith, strength, integrity, and love he instilled in each of us. His life was a testament to serving God, loving his family, and putting others before himself. While he will be deeply missed every day, his legacy will continue through all who were blessed to know and love him.
