Brenda L. Lutz, 76, of Lititz, went to join her Lord in Heaven on Monday, August 24, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Berks County PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Borkey. She was also the loving and devoted wife to Michael “Mike” Lutz for 53 years.
Brenda loved supporting others. Ever present throughout both her children’s and grandchildren’s lives, if her grandsons were playing in a sporting event you could guarantee she would be there. While she tended to be reserved and avoided the spotlight if at all possible, she loved hosting meals and events, opening her home to others and spoiling them with her delicious “chicken supreme” and other treats. She was also thoughtful, making sure the people she cared for were not only seen, but appreciated in the smallest of ways. Whether it was by sending her children home with care packages for college, always having a special toy or treat for the family pets when she visited, or something as simple as sending a card for a birthday, Brenda not only remembered but took joy in the act of giving. This giving extended into her volunteer work as well, both her and Mike working with Bible2School to help spread the teachings of Christ to children.
Brenda is survived by her husband Mike; her children Jennifer (Michael) Zepp and Erin Lutz Martin; grandchildren Hunter and Chase Zepp; and her grand-dogs Bo, Luna, and Kylo. She is preceded in passing by her sister, Deb Kantner.
A memorial and celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 beginning at 3PM. Friends and relatives will be received prior to the service at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Brenda’s name may be made to Bible2School at 1377 N Colebrook Rd, Manheim, PA 17545 or by visiting bible2school.com/donate/.
