Bonnie M. Myers

Bonnie M. Myers (82), of Lititz, PA passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, after living for many years with dementia. She was the wife of Leon S. Myers, having been married 33 years.

Born in South English, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late Robert Hamill Robison and Lillian E. (Brower) Robison.

Bonnie was a graduate of McPherson College. She was employed by JC Penney, Container Corporation of America, the March of Dimes, the East Cocalico Church of the Brethren and the Akron Mennonite Church.

Music was always a large part of Bonnie’s life. She sang and played piano from an early age. She was a choir director at the Stover Church of the Brethren, the Hatfield Church of the Brethren and the East Cocalico Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her daughter Dayna (Anthony) DiMarco of Canton, Ohio and son Jared (Sonja) Long of Solon, Iowa, and Leon’s daughters Carey (Vincent Causerano) Myers and Rebecca (Michael) Fracchia, grandchildren Carina, Ranita, Josiah DiMarco, Eliana and Jakob Long, Ryan (Lauren) Blough, Madelynn Myers, Nico and Chase Causerano, Alexander Fracchia, and great-grandchild Archer Blough. Bonnie was predeceased by her husband Leon and sister Kayren Osborn.

A Memorial Service will be held a 2PM on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Akron Mennonite Church, 1311 Diamond Street, Akron, PA 17501.  Family and friends will be received from 1:30PM until the time of service.  There will be a graveside service in South English, Iowa at a later date. In lieu of flowers and in keeping with Bonnie’s love for reading, donations may be made to the Mifflin Community Library, 6 Philadelphia Ave, Shillington PA 19607.
