Betty Jean (Sipple) Poremba

Betty Jean (Sipple) Poremba, 65, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2026. Born in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of Helen (Campbell) Swank and the late Bertram Sipple.

Betty was a graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School and worked for the Central PA Bloodbank as a phlebotomist. She loved going to the beach, listening to music and singing karaoke, and cooking. Most of all, Betty had a servant's heart and truly cared about others.

Betty is survived by 3 daughters: Rebecca Morris, Holly Templin (Barry), and Kaylee Reider; and 3 grandchildren: Andrew Morris, Noah Templin, and Sophia Templin. She was predeceased by her sister Virginia Hornberger.
