Betty L. Myers

Betty L. Myers, 85, of Johnson City, NY, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026. Born in Washburn, Maine, she was the daughter of Aubrey and Loretta (Wilcox) Brown. She was married 49 years to her husband Bruce W. Myers until his passing in 2012.

Betty was a graduate of Easton High School in Easton, Maine. She obtained an associate's degree from Fisher Junior College, Boston, and worked as a legal secretary. Betty was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed tending to her home and family. She also had her own cleaning business for 30 years and was passionate about caring for others homes.

Betty was an avid walker, loved going all out for Christmas, and cherished the time spent with her family.

Betty is survived by two children: Timothy Myers (Wendy) and Heidi Geist (Kevin); two grandchildren: Alexander Myers and Grace Jennings (Hollis); her twin sister Sally Longmoore (John) and sister Molly Curran (Sandy). She was predeceased by her brother Steve Brown.
