Betty Jane Blanck

Betty Jane Blanck, 94, of Willow Valley Communities, formerly of Thorndale and Coatesville, passed away on March 18th after a brief illness. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of William L. Conroy and Grace V. (Ulshafer) Conroy. She was the wife of the late William E. Blanck who passed away in 2004.

Betty graduated in 1949 from John Bartram High School. She loved numbers, bookkeeping, and accounting and started her career at General Electric after graduating from high school. She went on to work at Downington Area School District, Embreeville State Hospital, and West Chester University from which she retired in 1995.

She was active in card clubs, book clubs, the Red Hatters, and a Bible study group.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Kristin Blanck, and son-in-law, Daniel Graziano. The service will be private.
