Barbara A. Weigand

Barbara Ann Weigand, age 72, of Lititz passed away on March 10, 2026. Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Decosta) Spadanuta.

Barbara's journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) was marked by her compassion and dedication to the healthcare field. Despite facing various physical ailments throughout her life, she never allowed them to hinder her zest for life, always embracing new adventures with enthusiasm.

 As "Meemaw," Barbara formed an unbreakable bond with her grandchildren, showering them with affection and creating countless memories. Her passions included tending to her bird feeders, enjoying the company of her beloved cats, and savoring peaceful mornings on her back porch with a cup of coffee in hand. Barbara loved the outdoors and found immense joy in traveling and exploring new places with her family. 

Barbara is survived by her beloved son, Paul Weigand (husband of Ashlie Enck); her cherished grandchildren: Grayson, Cole and Lucas; her sisters: Carol Murphy and Patricia Spadanuta; her aunt Elaine Davis; her cousin Lisa Davis and her best friend: Rosemarie Amato Sofield.

Barbara was a devoted mother and cherished grandmother who will be lovingly remembered for her unwavering spirit and her immense love for her family.
