Barbara June Showers

Barbara June Showers, 90, of Manheim, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026. Born in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clair E. and Ethel Mae (Byers) Myers. She was married to Frank E. Showers, Jr. for 46 years until his passing in 1999.

Barbara graduated from York High School and worked in the banking industry most of her career, retiring from Farmer's First Bank in Lititz. Her family was at the center of her world, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Barb was talented at sewing and quilting, loved to read and golf, and especially enjoyed trips to Delaware beaches. A devoted woman of God, Barb was involved in her faith and at any church she was attending. She had a special place in her heart for all the dogs she owned throughout her life.

Barbara is survived by 3 children: Cathrine Dailey (William), Frank Showers, III, and Debra Eshleman (Brian); 4 grandchildren: Kenneth Dailey (Juliana), Kristen Swords (Brian), Adrian McCoy (Ryan), and Amanda Eshleman; and 4 great-grandchildren: Riley, Wyatt, Piper, and Roselea. Barbara was predeceased by 2 siblings.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Lititz Moravian Church, 8 Church Square, Lititz, PA 17543. The family will receive guests beginning at 10 AM in the Eschbach Parlor. Interment will immediately follow the service in Moravian Cemetery.
