Albert E. Seidel, Jr.

Albert E. Seidel, Jr., age 80, passed away on August 2, 2026, after a courageous 11-year long battle with ALS. Born in New York, he was the son of the late Albert Sr., and Mary Dorothy Seidel. He shared over 34 years with his beloved wife, Molly (Mollahan) Seidel.

Albert graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Lebanon Valley College, a foundation that prepared him for a fruitful career in pharmaceutical sales and management. He spent many years working with renowned companies including GlaxoSmithKline and Abbott Laboratories, where he was respected for his professionalism and dedication to his clients. 

Outside of his professional life, Albert had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed shooting and hunting, pursuits that he embraced throughout much of his life. After relocating to New Mexico, he discovered a new passion for photography, capturing the beauty of local wildlife through the lens of his camera. Albert’s love for nature was complemented by his adventures with his wife, Molly. Together, they reveled in travel, and their annual trips to Maui to swim with the sea turtles became cherished memories that they shared with joy.

He is survived by his loving wife and devoted family. He was preceded in passing by his parents, and a sister, Mary Dorothy Barr.

A Memorial Service honoring Albert will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to ALS United Mid-Atlantic.
