A. June Gehman

June Gehman, 93, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. She was born on June 21, 1933, in Lancaster, to the late Abram G. and Reba K. (Leaman) Herr.

She was the loving wife of the late Glenn E. Gehman, who preceded her in death in 1973. June and Glenn shared over 20 years of marriage before his passing. June devoted her life to her family and raised her four sons on their 67-acre farm, where they enjoyed life together.

She was a lifetime member of Grace Point church (formally Paradise Mennonite) of Paradise, where she participated in the church sewing circle for many years. June also worked part-time at the Millstream Motor Lodge and later at Kitchen Kettle.

June is survived by her four sons, Carl (Sheryl) of Lancaster, Jerry (Loretta) of Quarryville, Dale (Kathy) of Strasburg, and Kent of Lancaster; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren, who will cherish the many memories they made with her.

June's family will remember her as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love and steady presence touched generations of her family.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11am at Landis Homes in the West Bethany Chapel, 1001 E Oregon Rd, Lititz, PA 17543,. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11am. June will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Glenn, following the service at Paradise Mennonite Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Landis Homes Caring Fund or Grace Point Church of Paradise.
