To the Pompey Family:
I feel and share in your pain, sorrow and you all have my Sincere Sympathy in the Passing of my Dear Cousin Willie and father figure as well. I had the pleasure of talking to him before God called him home. I’ve known him all my life. He was a Great man, cousin, father, father figure to many and sharing his Advices.  He said what he mean and mean what he said. I use to brag on him and his brothers to people about how they would dress sharp back n the day, 3 – pcs suits. It was called “Dress to kill” because 3pcs with matching hats and shoes. They didn’t play the radio, meaning beat but if they have to. He touched many lives thru the years in a kind loving way. He will be missed and Love forever in our hearts,  not forgotten. May all of us find Comforting in good lasting memories that has now become  a Treasure to Cherish forever.
Thru Jesus Christ, he will give us Comforting Strength that will push us along the way. He is Resting and at Peace with the Lord now. I Love you, Willie ;however, God Loved you best.
I love you all Family!!
Your Uncle Tom/Lillie dgtr,

I would like to extend my sincere condolences and best wishes to the Pompey family. Most of all, I want extend condolences to Jerome and Martha Pompey. I was the Principal at Reynolds Middle School when they were students at the school.
I had many conversations with Jerome and Martha many times during those years. In fact, even after leaving Reynolds, Jerome often called me for some enjoyable conversations. He was a person with great potential and drive. Martha visited my office often. Many times she was referred to me by a teacher who had some concerns about something Martha did or did not do in class. I soon became an outspoken supporter for her. While she may have come to my office because of a problem, I soon enjoyed my conversations with her. She was a very likable and friendly person with much potential.During this time when you  grieve the death of Willie, I wish all the best to all members of the family but special wishes for Jerome and Martha. God bless you!!
