William Michael Windle, 52

William Michael Windle, 52, of Smoketown, died peacefully at home on Sunday, May 27, 2018, with his wife, Michelle L. (Cornelius) Windle by his side, and surrounded by his family.

Born in Harford, County, Maryland on October 12, 1965, he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Josephine (Earheart) Windle.

Affectionately known as “Mike,” he was a carpenter by trade.

Mike is survived by two sons, William J. married to Davina Cornelius of Leavenworth, Kansas and William “Michael” Windle, Jr. and companion Jazlyn Marie Ressler of Smoketown; two daughters, Katherine “Darnell” Windle of Ronks and Jacqueline Corrine Windle; seven grandchildren, Hailee Fisher, Aubrey Lefever, Aniyah Windle, Brayden Hegeman, Brentley Windle, Austin Duff, Alexys Windle and a grandchild due in July; four sisters, Rebecca married to William Shultz of York Haven, Debra married to Ron Ross of New Kensington, Brenda married to Allen Wyatt of Delta and Linda Simmons and companion Thomas Shenk of Joppa, MD; and a brother, John married to Tina Windle of NY. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edgar Lee Windle.

There will be a viewing on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 6 until 8:00 PM in the Bachman Funeral Home, 7 South Decatur Street, Strasburg, PA, and again on Tuesday, June 5 from 10 until 11:00 AM. The funeral is Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor ___ officiating.
