William K.I. Fenninger, 16

September 01, 2025

Through many tears, the family of Will Fenninger announce his passing on September 1, 2025, following a tragic accident. He was16. Born in Lancaster, he was the eldest son of William S. Fenninger (Patricia) and Winnie C. Yegon (Denzel Ross).

A junior at Warwick High School, Will was remembered for his love of wrestling, playing basketball and football. He was a natural leader, always pressing others to be their best both in the locker room, and in their personal lives. He was always there to help others in their deepest times of need.

His sense of humor, including regularly pranking his dad, loving heart, beaming personality, and infectious smile were loved by all who knew him. He was also a member of the TNT Youth Ministries through Grace Church.

Will’s love and memories will live on in his parents, siblings, Winston, Grayson, Aniyah, Seraphina, and Suraya, his uncles Peter and Patrick Ruto, his paternal great grandmother, Barbara Fenninger, cousins, Patrick, Briella, and Es’mha, his second cousin, Dr. Dickson Kirui, maternal relatives including Matthew Ngetich and family, Sally Tsuma, David Yegon and family, Junior Tsuma, Owichira Tsuma, Abraham Tsuma, Winifred Tsuma, Jatheth Yegon and family, Wilfred Yegon and family, all the Namasaka Family, Jane, Anna, Sk, Richard and Joseph, and his “brothers” Asher, Judah, Kayden, Chris, Ryan and Brenner. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents William Robert and Peggy Lou Stutzman Fenninger, maternal grandparents, Eric and Esther Yegon, and an uncle, Charles Ruto.

A Service Celebrating Will’s life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Lancaster Evangelica Free Church, 419 Pierson Rd. Lititz, PA 17543, beginning at 1 PM. The family will greet guests from 10 AM until the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to offset Will’s funeral expenses, on behalf of his family.
