William Diamantoni, 19
September 10, 2025
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of William Diamantoni, who tragically died in an auto accident on September 10, 2025.
Will was the beloved son of Laura and Steve Diamantoni, and the cherished twin brother of Gust and his older brother Jackson Murray.
A sophomore neuroscience major at Penn State, Will excelled academically, finishing his freshman year with a 4.0 GPA. Sensitive, articulate, athletic, and humble, he was just beginning to come into his own socially – embracing college life, making new friends, and treasuring the lifelong friendships he had carried since preschool.
Will loved time spent with friends – whether cheering on Penn State at games, taking late-night drives, or discussing black holes for hours. He played recreational soccer, swam competitively with Bent Creek, and was a member of the League of Legends Esports team. Though his wrestling career was cut short by his dislike of the singlet, he found pride in achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and enjoyed summers as a certified lifeguard.
A devoted member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Will served as an altar boy and participated in mission trips. He also worked alongside his father at Diamantoni & Associates as a medical assistant, often sharing stories of the skills he was learning each day. He was more than a summer employee; he was a vibrant part of the work family, all of whom will deeply miss his presence and the positive energy he brought to the office. He was not just a summer co-worker, but everyone’s friend.
Will traveled widely, recently enjoying adventures with friends to Japan, a trip to Iceland and ski trips to Lake Tahoe with his dad, and lake trips with his mom, cousins, aunts, and grandparents. He enjoyed working out—often showing off his muscles, even curling his favorite brown dog, Vic.
He was the best son a parent could hope for, and an amazing sibling to his brothers. Will’s bright presence, intelligence, humor, and deep compassion have left an enormous void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Funeral Services for William will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10:30am at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 64 Hershey Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603 with The Rev. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5pm-8pm with a 7:30pm Trisagion Service at the church and from 9am-10:30am Monday morning prior to the funeral service at the church. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park.
