William Deutschlander, 87

William F Deutschlander, 87, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on August 25, 2025.

Bill was born February 18, 1938 in , Lancaster, NY the son of Walter and Loretta Deutschlander.

Bill graduated from Corry High School in 1956, then went on to Gannon College working on a business and engineering degree.

Bill spent his career fabricating, servicing and inspecting above ground tankage. He was able to have his own company for over 20 years.

Bill especially loved working on and rebuilding cars and motorcycles with his sons and rescuing animals. Throughout his life his home was always filled with cats and dogs. He had a soft spot in his heart for all animals. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He loved his family and children and loved spending time with them.

Remaining to cherish Bill’s memory are his children William F Deutschlander Jr and his wife Rosa, Susan Deutschlander Carlile and husband Chad, Ashley Deutschlander and fiancé James Ross, Jonathan Deutschlander and wife Kelsey. His grandchildren are Cristina Hamme Kurtin and husband Issac, Kevin Hamme,Riggs Deutschlander and Lottie Deutschlander and baby Ross due in November. His great grandson Lan Kurtin. His brother Garry Deutschlander and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Thanks to the caring staff at Neffsville Rehabilitation and Nursing facilities for caring for him in his final years .
