I am so sorry for your loss of a wonderful husband and father. My memory of Wayne is when I took his advice which he said..if you plan to eventually stay home with your baby you’d better do it before she is 2 or you won’t ever stop working. I left Armstrong in Sept 1982 and I had a wonderful time with both daughters, Tera now 30 with a 4 month old son, and Britney now 24. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Margaret, and your family. May your memories sustain you through this difficult time.

I was very sorry to read Wayne’s obituary in the Intell/New Era, which I read online while I’m at my summer place in northern New York state. Because of this I will be unable to attend the funeral, but I extend my sincere condolences to Margaret. She and Wayne were my neighbors for almost 22 years until they moved to the Masonic Homes.

I don’t know if Wayne had been ill, but if he was I hope his suffering was minimal.

To the Wayne Poff family.

Our families have been long time friends, our memories of Stone Harbor, NJ vacations and the many fun times we had will never be forgotten.

Margaret, Rob and family our sincere condolences, you will be in our thoughts and prayers. May all of you find peace and closure.
