Wanda J. Boley, 56

February 07, 2022

Wanda J. Boley, 56, of Elizabethtown, passed away February 7, 2022 in her home, surrounded by her wife, dogs, and dearest friends. Born in Lancaster, Wanda was the daughter of the late Chester and Grace (Fryberger) Boley. She shared more than 12 years with her loving wife, Kathy Haines.

She had a beautiful soul and an infectious smile. She will be remembered by many as being generous. Wanda would give to benefit others and loved to read, play Bingo with her sister, watch game shows and do word puzzles. She was fond of visiting the beach. She often volunteered for Pitties Love Peace. Wanda worked for Conestoga Wood Specialties for over 16 years.

Wanda’s love will live on in her wife Kathy; sister, Janet, wife of Donald “Butch” Welsh of Gap; brothers: John Freyberger of Columbia, Tony “Butch” Boley, husband of Amy of Denver, and Glen Boley of New Holland; 5 nephews and a niece; sister-in-law, Kim, wife of Eric Strickler of Mt. Joy and Kathy’s parents, Kenneth and Linda Haines of Elizabethtown. She was preceded in passing by her brother, Robert “Buck” Fryberger and a nephew. She will especially be missed by her “children”: Holly, Precious, Dexter and Sonny.

Friends and loved ones are invited to attend a viewing at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM. Condolences to the Family

Wanda was a great friend and an over all beautiful person. She was always concerned about everyone else above herself. I treasured our friendship greatly. She will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the family

February 11, 2022

My deepest sympathies to Kathy & the family. Wanda was a very nice lady that always had a smile on her face when I would see her come into the hospital to see Kathy when she was working and I always enjoyed seeing her and chatting for a few minutes.

Wanda was a beautiful person with a loving heart.  I knew her many years ago. We worked together for many years. So sorry for your loss. I will be out of town during this time and unable to attend. May you find comfort in God’s arms.

Wanda was such a sweet soul with a sweet spirit of loving, giving and helping.  She gave of her tender heart, her thoughts and her energy – all for others, whether the recipient had 2 legs or 4 legs.  I am so thankful for having been able to have my life touched by hers.  Our family will never forget the tender and caring  assistance that she and Kathy always gave freely to help my aunt, her neighbor, because none of the family was close by.  She and Kathy gave comfort and security to my aunt, and comfort to our family, knowing that our aunt could receive help and be watched over by two wonderful, good people.   Wanda was such a blessing to our whole family and we will always remember, be ever grateful and cherish this sweet soul.
