Wanda Emich Martin, 84
August 28, 2025
Wanda Emich Martin, age 84, of Lititz, passed away on August 28, 2025. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Mildred (Owens) Emich and the beloved and devoted wife of the late Glenn E. Martin, whom she shared over 55 wonderful years of marriage with.
Wanda graduated from Manheim Township High School in 1959 and began her professional journey as a secretary for Armstrong World Industries. She then found her passion in display design, working for Stauffers of Kissel Hill and later as a valued employee of the Lititz Record-Express, in advertising design for the Lancaster Farming News.
A beloved member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, she was known for her warm spirit and generous heart. An accomplished needlepoint artist, Wanda earned numerous awards for her intricate designs, showcasing her dedication and creativity in every project. Her most cherished accomplishment, however, was her family, as she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and beloved grandmother.
Wanda is survived by her two sons: Jeffrey D. Martin (husband of Susan E. (Grant) Martin) and Scott Martin (husband of Teresa (Kennel) Martin) and four grandchildren: Katelyn Martin, Courtney Hossler (wife of Zach Hossler), Tyler Martin and Kyle Martin.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Charles Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 from 10AM to 11AM with a memorial service to honor Wanda’s life at 11AM. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
