Victor V. Thao, 61, of Lititz, passed away Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy. Born in Xiengkhouang, Laos, he was the husband of Ying (Lee) Thao, to whom he was married 40 years. He was the son of the late Zang Dang Thao and Mao Her. Victor was a member of Hmong Alliance Church in Leola, and was a machine operator by trade. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved fishing and hunting. His pastimes included soccer and volleyball, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 7 children: Branjoe Thao of Lititz, PA; David Thao (Mary) of Pottstown, PA; Peter Thao (Joan) of Lititz, PA; Linda Yang (Kong) of Denver, PA; Joshua Thao (Lily) of Wisconsin; Christopher Thao (Angel) of Wisconsin; Elizabeth Thao of Lititz, PA; 8 grandchildren; siblings: Xao Neng Thao (Sue) of Lakeland, FL; Yeng Yang (La Mang) of Lakeland, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 12 noon and again from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, May 12; and from 9 to 11 prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in Mellinger Union Meeting Cemetery.
