To the entire family, I originally met Vance backstage at the PAC as one of the “set dads” and he was a huge supporter of this new kid that took over running the HHS PAC. I then realized he lived one block away from our home. We made sure to bring the children by every Halloween. I have since met Deb and all three children. Vance’s service should be a testament to how much he meant to so many. Parking on the next block, lines out the door, standing room only. Everyone wanted to pay their respects to such a respected man. I attended as civilian bugler for the Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard and a friend. It was my honor to to sound taps for such a special man that served his country, community, and family. Vance will always hold a special place in my heart and memories. My condolences. Greg

I had the great pleasure and honor of teaching each of the Spicer children, and was welcomed into the Spicer family as a result. What a wonderful group of people. Vance and Debbie were quite a team, and opened their hearts and home to others, and it was a warm, safe place for their children to grow up. Vance may not be with us, but his spirit and legacy will live on through Rob, VJ, and Jeanna and their children. Debbie, I know he will be always in your heart, and will live on with you, too. Much love to you all. Melissa Byers
