Sue loved all animals, especially her precious feline family. Nature was a vital part of her life and well-being. Gardening was her true passion, and she possessed a true “green thumb”. Sue was one of my most favorite people in all the world! She was a wonderful friend to me and we spent countless hours talking and sharing and just having fun. We had endless talks on the phone after my family moved back to the Pittsburgh area.. Thank you for being a part of my life, you enriched it immensely. You are one of the most inspiring person I’ve known.

I knew, and adored, Sue when I used to work at Here’s Market in Marietta. Sue would often stop in and chat with us while she was running errands in her VW or when she wasn’t busy working at Marcos. I remember all the adorable painted pumpkins she made for us to sell at Herrs. Although it had been years since I had seen her, every time I traveled past her house on 441 I’d slow down to see if I might see her and wonder how she was doing. The world has lost a wonderful lady.

Sue was a very sweet lady and a good friend. I spent a lot of hours chatting with her when I worked at Herr’s Market in Marietta. Chatting the evening away with her made the slow nights more fun. We spent about two hours one evening standing at the checkout counter, making paper stars for Christmas ornaments. She told me a lot of interesting stories and gave me some of the best parenting advice. Good memories. Rest in peace, Sue.

Sorry for your loss. I used to live on Beatty’s Tollgate and shared a mailbox pole with her. Such a sweet soul. Even plowed out her drive more than once. Rest In Peace

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is so difficult and words are so hard to find when you really need them.
Know that I am praying for you all to find peace as you journey through your grief. Take care of each other ~
