Condolences to the Family

Miles and Family, I never met your daughter but I can tell from the Obitary that she was a fine young woman from a fine family.  I send my sincere condolences for your loss and know that it must be devastating to lose a child, no matter what age.  I am confident that we will all be together again one day and there will be no sickness, tears or death.  Deepest sympathy and best wishes to you all.  Luther Henry

My heartfelt condolence. I will remember Sonja fondly, with a smile I will remember her willingness to take time to chat. I will remember summer picnics at the Jack and Shirley Henderson’s and long conversations at Bob’s office. Wishing you peace and all that comforts you. Heather Lenhart

I can’t begin to express what a loss this world has endured with Sonia’s passing.  However, I know where she has gone is greater than what this world has to offer.  Sonia was a friend, but more like a mother.  I worked side by side for nearly 9 years with her at the prison.  Great thing about the two of us was I loved to talk and she loved to listen.  I had the opportunity to share with her some of greatest stories of my life and her the same.  Her’s with some added advice. (Of course)
When Sonia got sick I couldn’t believe it and I refused to accept it.  I regret now that I didn’t use that time to spend with here, walking with her through that time in her life.  However, I never stopped praying for her as she never stopped praying for me.  Even with her illness, she was always caring about me and for others. She will be greatly missed.  My prayers are with your family.  Officer Collins/Guzman.

So sorry to hear of Sonia’s passing.  I had worked with her for several years at LCP.  She always had a smile, along with a good conversation.  I did get the chance recently to talk with her and her father at another Officer Memorial when visiting PA.  I was glad I got that chance see and talk with her.  My condolences and prayers for the Family.  Ed Klinovski (LCP Major, Retired)

My sincere sympathy. Words fail me other than to state that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sonia was an officer that I respected for her honesty and compassion. Polite, pleasant and professional. Always a smile and a friendly exchange of words when we saw each other. Many shared overlaps in our life experiences and our paths will cross again. Deepest condolances from my family to yours. GOD Bless.    – Bob & Debbie Bodnar.

Our deepest sympathies to the Neff family and all who loved Sonia. Sonia was the most beautiful, courageous, kind-spirited and generous woman I have ever met. Her niece and nephew will remember her as their lives go on, and will always remember the love and compassion she had for them.
Sonia put up the most courageous fight up until the very end. Though words can not express this tremendous loss, we find solace knowing that she is no longer in pain and finally free. We will remember Sonia at her best times and will not be plagued by the disease that she so courageously battled.
We love you and will be forever greatful for the wonderful love you gave us and your family. Sending the most deepest love and support to everyone who was impacted by Sonia’s spirit and love.
