Shirley helped me get my job at PP&L back in the 70’s. What a character she was. When I went around to take coffee break orders what did she always get but chocolate milk and chocolate cupcakes! In the wee hours of the morning one time she stopped a milkman (when they delivered to the door) and asked him for some cartons of chocolate milk. He obliged. Shirley always had a candy jar on her desk and one guy used to stop daily to treat himself. Never once did he offer to fill it. Well, one day he stopped and to his surprise pulled out dog biscuits. I don’t think he came back. lol. Fun times at Bowers. She was a great person. Rest now Shirley 💕

Shirley, what fond memories her and Bill blessed me with. Worked together at PPL, attended each other’s wedding, great long weekend at the shore. Now this is like 50-51 years ago. Wonderful person, great truly loving couple. Shirley is beaming in Heaven. A continual light of joy, kindness and is welcomed into God’s grace’s as she welcomed everyone into her life.
