Sherry E. Dommel, 75, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2021. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Florence (Wilkenson) Hardy. She was the devoted wife of Frederick G. Dommel, Jr. for more than 30 years until his passing in 2016.

She will be fondly remembered for her enjoyment of the outdoors and hiking. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed tending to her flowers. Sherry was technologically savvy, and would often bond with her son Chris, on the latest gadgets and software.

Her love will live on in her son Christopher E. Hardy, companion of Debra Glavich, of New York, and her sister, Genevieve Rose Hardy of North Carolina, as well as nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA at 12 PM. Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 11 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Riverview Burial Park.
